Ingredients
Shredded Cabbage
TBSP Honey
2 TBSP Lime Juice
1 LB Medium Shrimp
1 TBSP Chili Powder
1/2 TBSP Cumin, Garlic Powder, Chipotle, Oregano, Salt
2 TBSP Oil
Flour Tortillas
Kinder’s Baja Taco Sauce
Crumbled Cotija Cheese
Fresh Cilantro
Pica de gallo
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, mix together cabbage, lime juice, honey, and salt. Stir thoroughly and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Step 2
Dry the shrimp using a paper towel. In a bowl, mix the shrimp with chili powder, cumin, oregano, chipotle powder, salt, and garlic powder. Stir thoroughly to ensure the shrimp are coated with the spices.
Step 3
Cover the bottom of a large skillet with oil and heat it over medium-high heat. Place the shrimp in the oil and pan fry them for 2-3 minutes on each side to ensure even cooking until they are lightly charred and completely cooked through.
Step 4
Prepare tacos by filling them with shrimp, a cabbage mixture, cotija cheese, pico de gallo, cilantro, and Baja taco sauce.
